Inkjet Printing Basics

Inkjet printing is the most common form of digital printing. I began using this process in the 1990s with Epson printers. My current Epson printer is is an Epson 3800.

Before Editing

1 Set File Resolution to 360
2 Save as TIFF
3 Change Mode to 16 bits
4 Choose Paper
5 Convert To Profile

Editing

1 Crop
2 Adjust Brightness
3 Adjust Shadows
4 Adjust Highlights
5 Adjust Contrast
6 Local Adjustments
7 Retouch
8 Size
9 Sharpen
